Akeema Shield

All Saints Mercer (Tuesday) Beavers took part in the Hyndburn District Akeema Shield at Bowley Scout Camp on Saturday 28th April.

Several other Beaver colonies took part, including Accy West, 1st Baxenden, 1st Oswaldtwistle St Pauls and Loyola.

Beavers had lots of fun completing different bases, including golf target shooting, egg and spoon race, bean bag target shooting, penalty shoot out, box and broom relay and an obstacle course.

The winning team, Loyola , now go on to represent Hyndburn in the East Lancs County Akeema Shield , to be held later in the year.



Grey Beaver was presented with his Wood Badge after completing his leader training.
